Behavior Problems

Many of my friends own Boxers and they have all seemed to have some similar behavior problems. Many of these things can be nipped in the bud especially at a young age so it’s important that you know what to expect.

Excessive chewing, excessive barking, digging or nipping are a few things that have come up. Boxer dogs become very protective of their loved ones and will bark like crazy if they hear or see anyone on the property or coming near them. I think that the chewing, digging and everything else I have mentioned can be taken care of by a trainer if need be.

If your Boxer is well exercised and gets plenty of attention, these things shouldn’t be a problem. The more you work with them at home and socialize them, the better they will get. The Boxer dog breed is a great companion and they are very loving loyal pets.
